1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Own the Script (“the App”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and a mortgage professional (or otherwise authorized) to use the App.

3. The service

The App helps you draft compliance-aware video scripts, record and render videos, and optionally publish them to social platforms you connect. AI-generated scripts and the built-in compliance checks are assistance tools, not legal or compliance advice or a guarantee of regulatory compliance. You are responsible for reviewing and approving everything you publish, including required disclosures (e.g. NMLS ID, Equal Housing) and adherence to RESPA, TILA/Reg Z, UDAAP, and any state and platform rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the scripts and videos you create. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, render, and (at your direction) publish that content to your connected accounts. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you include.

5. Connected accounts and posting

When you link a platform, you authorize us to post on your behalf only as you direct, and you agree to that platform’s terms. You can disconnect at any time. We are not responsible for platform availability, changes, rejections, or removal of content by a platform.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the App to create unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or non-compliant content, to enter consumer/borrower personal data, to misuse third-party APIs, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on third parties (including Supabase, OpenAI, Shotstack, FRED, NewsData.io, and the social platforms). Their terms govern their services, and we are not liable for them.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that scripts, compliance checks, rate/news data, or renders are accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for regulatory penalties arising from content you approve and publish. Our total liability is limited to [[AMOUNT / fees paid in the prior 12 months]].

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App anytime; we may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Certain sections survive termination.

We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date.

13. Governing law
